The Human Resources Department Staff administer the Merced County Office of Education's personnel and payroll activities, including recruiting and selecting employees, maintaining employee records, and negotiating and administering employment contracts with the classified and certificated bargaining units. Human Resources also coordinates compensation and benefits, and provides advice on credentialing issues to Merced County's teachers and administrators.
The Human Resources staff is available to assist departments and districts in the development and implementation of practices and procedures that maximize the potential and enhance the contributions of a diverse workforce.
