Rules and Procedures

  1. The PAR Panel reserves the right to establish procedures when they are not specifically enumerated in the PAR Agreement.
  2. The PAR Panel will select a Chair and Vice Chair. The Vice Chair will conduct the business of the Chair in the Chair's absence. Those persons will be selected at the May meeting for the following school year.
  3. New Panel members will be seated at the first meeting after July 1.
  4. Panel members are responsible for notifying Loretta Contreras as soon as possible if they are unable to attend a scheduled Panel meeting.
  5. Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at the discretion of the Chair, with a minimum of 4 meetings held during the school year. 
  6. The Panel will approve or disapprove all conference expenses for CTs, Panel members, Voluntary Participating Teachers, and Referred Participating Teachers prior to attendance.
  7. The Panel will develop an annual calendar of activities each year by May for the following school year.
  8. Minutes and agendas of the PAR meetings will be emailed to all Panel members prior to the next scheduled meeting unless otherwise requested.
  9. Any Self-Referrals received after April 1 shall be held over for consideration in the following school year.
