The Instructional Services staff work to promote improved student achievement by disseminating information, providing assistance and support, organizing professional development activities, and providing standards-aligned instructional resources to educators throughout Merced County. We also assist schools by facilitating categorical programs, state-sponsored grants, special student events, educational technology services and new teacher support programs.
Public Affairs includes serving as public information officer, assisting in the promotion of education utilizing area media, and providing assistance and coverage to all MCOE and Merced County Schools and programs.
