The Merced County Transition Council
The Transition Council is a group representing parents, schools, Central Valley Regional Center, State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Supported Employment Program, and adult service providers. Its purpose is to facilitate the transition of special education students from school to adulthood and the world of work.

October is National Disability Employment Month. In 2009 CVRC clients from around the community meet at the Court House Park to show the community their interest and ability in having a meaningful job.
