  • CPIN is a Statewide System of Preschool Instructional Networks funded by Child Development and Special Education divisions to provide consistent and high quality professional development for preschool administrators and teachers focusing on preparing children ages 3-5, including English learners and children with disabilities, for success in elementary school.

  • MCOE is the lead agency for Region 7 ( Merced, Madera, Mariposa, Fresno, Tulare and Kings county) and this effort is coordinated by Cristina Corchado.

  • Diana Decker and Susan Thomas, Special Education Leads, provide professional development in inclusive practices. CDE/Special Education division committed these resources to insure that children with disabilities are full participants in inclusive preschool settings and that training will focus on the needs of ALL children.

The Region 7 California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN) focuses on the educational component of preparing all children, ages three to five years, for success in school by providing and/or supporting professional development for administrators and leaders in early childhood programs.
