National and Local History

Founded over 30 years ago in Connecticut, the Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is nationally recognized as an effective model for expanding parental involvement. PLTI began operating locally in Merced County in 2014 through a collaboration of committed stakeholders. The program is facilitated under the umbrella of the Merced County Office of Education.
