Early Education Pathways

Assistant
Authorizes the holder to assist in the care, development, and instruction of children in a child care and development program under the supervision of an Associate Teacher Permit holder or above.
Associate Teacher
This permit authorizes the holder to provide service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a childcare and development program; and supervise an Adie or Assistant Permit holder.
Teacher
This authorizes the holder to provide service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a child care and development program and supervise the Aide.
Site Supervisor
This authorizes the holder to supervise a child care and development program operating at a single site, provide service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a child care and development program, and serve as coordinator of curriculum and staff development.
Program Director
This authorizes the holder to supervise a child care and development program operating in a single site; or or multiple sites, provide service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a child care and development program, and serve coordinator of curriculum and staff development.
TK Teacher
Provide classroom instruction as the lead teacher in Transitional Kindergarten in a self-contained classroom.
