"Dream Big"— "It Starts with Us... Our Voices Matter!" The one-day event is designed to empower, inform and support parents in refining their natural leadership skills and provide them with the necessary tools to become change agents addressing issues that impact children and youth's, education, health, safety and development, ultimately result in a healthier community.
The Parent Institute will be structured with a variety of speakers and 40+ workshops. There will be a broad range of topics focused on parent leadership competency and advocacy. Workshops will be offered in English, Hmong and Spanish.
Continental breakfast/lunch provided, door prizes, and child care (first come, first serve).
