Tisha McParland

Tisha McParland has been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years. It all began with her parent’s restaurant, which eventually evolved into her franchising her own business from her aunt and uncle. She was an owner/operator for 20 years, which provided her with extensive experience in foodservice, from the back to the front of the house. In 2020, Tisha was hired to start the new ROP Culinary Essentials Program. In 2023, Tisha helped in designing/opening a mobile coffee trailer, Rise To Higher Grounds, which is an extension of her kitchen lab. Tisha has a wealth of knowledge to share with her students, providing them with hands on instruction and an owner perspective, which will prepare students for the foodservice industry.
