Our Services
What We Believe
If the Merced County Office of Education provides sustained leadership, high-quality professional learning, coaching, networking opportunities, equitable access to library resources, and strategic support for school and district library programs, then library professionals and educational leaders will strengthen instructional practices, expand student access to diverse and engaging collections, integrate information and digital literacy across the curriculum, and build vibrant library programs.
As a result, students throughout Merced County will become engaged readers, skilled researchers, critical thinkers, ethical users and creators of information, and lifelong learners who are prepared for college, career, and civic participation.
This work is grounded in collaboration, continuous improvement, and the belief that every student deserves access to an excellent school library regardless of zip code.
