Intern programs are designed for individuals who want to earn their California Preliminary Credential while teaching in a special education or multiple subject classrooms. The program helps interns gain experience and expertise through coaching, support and required coursework.

2025-2026 General and EL Support Seminar Schedule
Please find the full schedule for this year's General and EL Support Seminars here. These seminars are designed to support our newest educators by offering topics that align with the school year. While most required support hours are offered by your district, our program provides these additional opportunities for you to log hours towards your total.

2025-2026 CalTPA Informational Packet
Interns will need to successfully pass two cycles of the California Teaching Performance Assessment (CalTPA) as a requirement of our program and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). We are dedicated to supporting all intern through this process. Please refer to this packet for detailed information, resources, and guidance.
Intern Program Office Hours
Program office hours are a chance for all enrolled interns and mentors to drop in and get questions answered. These dedicated times are for you to receive direct support related to your program on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. These office hours are available via Zoom for the fall semester from September 15 - December 15.
