Rebecca Rodriguez Lincoln
Career Advisor for Merced and Los Banos
Ms. Lincoln is a long time resident of the Merced community, arriving in the mid-fifties when her father was stationed with the Strategic Air Command at Castle Air Force Base. Ms. Lincoln graduated from Merced High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Chapman University. She holds the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and is currently enrolled in a Master's program earning a degree in Education from CSU, Stanislaus.
Ms. Lincoln is married and has two children. Her son Andrew, graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Animation & Visual Effects from the San Francisco Academy of Arts, and her daughter Morgan, is sophomore at Merced College.
Ms. Lincoln's present position is that of a career educator in the Youth Opportunity Program and EMPOWER Program, which has afforded her the opportunity to serve Merced County youth and their families. Since she began her career with Merced County Office of Education in May, 2001, she has had the privilege of sitting on the Merced County Youth Council, the Central Valley Opportunity Center' Board, the Youth Developmental Action Team, the San Joaquin UC Alumni Network, and the Board of the Merced County Boys & Girls Clubs. She is a graduate of Leadership Merced, Class 19.
To be a positive and empowering role model for students, and encourage them to aspire to reach their highest potential.
Mr. Rivera is a graduate of Madera High School. He earned a Bachelors' Degree in Liberal Studies from CSU, Fresno. Mr. Rivera has worked for Merced County Office of Education for the sixteen years. He worked as an Out -School -Youth Specialist for the Migrant Education Program and as a Career Technician for Livingston and Golden Valley High Schools. Mr. Rivera has eight years of experience as an EMPOWER Advisor.
Mr. Rivera is married and has two children. During his spare time, he volunteers for the California Youth Soccer Association, District 7, as a Soccer Coach. He loves spending time with his family.

Elena Blanton has
over 15 years helping people prepare for employment, obtain training, and get
hired! She has worked as a job developer, case manager, workshop facilitator,
analyst, supervisor, career coach, and trainer in the field of employment and
training. She has also had a wide variety of jobs in other fields including a
case manager for a homeless shelter, a fundraiser, a sales associate in a
clothing store, a peach inspector, a receptionist, and a
file clerk. She earned her BA in Sociology from CSU East Bay (Hayward)
and her Master’s in Public Administration from CSU Stanislaus. In her spare
time she volunteers for the American Cancer Society and animal rescue.

Monica was born and raised in Merced and graduated from Merced High School.
Monica starting working for Merced County Office of Education in 2007.
Monica is married and has three children. She and her family enjoys the outdoors, camping, boating and BBQ.
