Daphne L. Post

Daphne L. Post has lived in Merced for over thirty-five years. She graduated from Merced High School (Go Bears!), received an AS from Merced Community College, a MS in Business from CSU, Fresno, a Single Subject Teaching Credential from Champman University, and an Administrative Services Credential from CSU, Stanislaus she is currently completing her Master's Degree in Administration. Ms. Post has worked for Merced County Office of Education for 23 years. She worked just shy of sixteen years at Valley Community School eight years as an English teacher and eight years as a Vice Principal. 

Mrs. Post is married and has one daughter currently enrolled at CSU Stanislaus to become an Elementary School Teacher she loves dogs (Three Chihuahuas) and spends her spare time traveling, gardening, and being artistic. 

Mrs. Post is currently the Coordinator for the WIOA Youth EMPOWER Program, the California Student Opportunity and Access Program (Cal-SOAP) the Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program for Merced County, Homeless Youth, and the Healthy Relationship and Economic Pathways/Break The Code Program.

Rebecca Rodriguez Lincoln 

Career Advisor for Merced and Los Banos

Rebecca Rodriguez Lincoln is a long time resident of the Merced community, arriving in the mid-fifties when her father was stationed with the Strategic Air Command at Castle Air Force Base. She graduated from Merced High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Chapman University. She holds the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and earned a Master's Degree in Education from CSU, Stanislaus in 2014.

Rebecca is married to her husband Michael for 42 years. She has two children, her son Andrew, graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Animation & Visual Effects from the San Francisco Academy of Arts, and her daughter Morgan, graduated from University of California, Berkeley, 2017.

Rebecca's position is that of a Career Educator in the WIOA EMPOWER Program, which has afforded her the opportunity to serve Merced County youth and their families. Since she began her career with Merced County Office of Education in May, 2001. Rebecca has had the privilege of sitting on the Merced County Youth Council, the Central Valley Opportunity Center' Board, the, San Joaquin UC Alumni Network, and the Board of the Merced County Boys & Girls Clubs.  She is a graduate of Leadership Merced, Class 19.

Robert Rivera

Mr. Rivera is a graduate of Madera High School.  He earned a Bachelors' Degree in Liberal Studies from CSU, Fresno.  Mr. Rivera has worked for Merced County Office of Education for the sixteen years.  He worked as an Out -School -Youth Specialist for the Migrant Education Program and as a Career Technician for Livingston and Golden Valley High Schools. Mr. Rivera has eight years of experience as a WIOA EMPOWER Advisor.   

Mr. Rivera is married and has two children.  During his spare time, he volunteers for the California Youth Soccer Association, District 7, as a Soccer Coach.  He loves spending time with his family.

Elena Blanton

Career Educator

Elena Blanton has over 15 years helping people prepare for employment, obtain training, and get hired! She has worked as a job developer, case manager, workshop facilitator, analyst, supervisor, career coach, and trainer in the field of employment and training. She has also had a wide variety of jobs in other fields including a case manager for a homeless shelter, a fundraiser, a sales associate in a clothing store, a peach inspector, a receptionist, and a file clerk. She earned her BA in Sociology from CSU East Bay (Hayward) and her Master’s in Public Administration from CSU Stanislaus. In her spare time she volunteers for the American Cancer Society and animal rescue.
