Principal's Message

It is our pleasure to welcome you to Valley Community School (VCS) Atwater, where every student is a success! VCS Atwater strives to meet this goal by providing a standards-based academic curriculum that is rigorous and challenging and meets the needs of our students.

Our program enables students to become productive members of the community by providing quality learning opportunities. Students develop an appreciation of self and others, individual talents, critical thinking and problem solving skills, workforce readiness, and complete a course of study resulting in a high school diploma or Certificate of Completion.

VCS Atwater has adopted a school posture – STRIVE. STRIVE is our model of school rules to help provide students with a safe and supportive learning environment. It is a restorative discipline process that encourages staff/student relationships to build positive behavior on campus.

Student commitment and parental support are essential to making every student successful. Working together, we can provide the best possible education for each student.
