PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to Education Code Sections 5090-5095, the Merced County Board of Education is seeking interested people from Trustee Area #4 who may wish to be appointed to serve as a member of the Merced County Board of Education until December 2028.

To be eligible, an applicant must be a registered voter, reside in Trustee Area #4, and not be a Merced County Office of Education employee or an employee of a school district in Merced County. A map that identifies the trustee areas will be made available with the application.

Interested people can obtain an application form from the Merced County Superintendent of Schools Office or the Human Resources Office at the Merced County Office of Education, 632 West 13th Street, Merced, CA 95341.

The deadline for submitting completed applications is 12:00 noon, Friday, June 5, 2026.
