Merced County Students Explore Career Opportunities at the 27th Annual Career Industry Day
Students from high schools across Merced County gathered on Oct. 16 at the Merced County Fairgrounds for the 27th annual Career Industry Day.
The event featured representatives from several local career industries, including law enforcement, construction, education and health. Students also had the opportunity to gain insight from keynote speaker, motivational entertainer and author Kevin Bracy, as well as participate in hands-on activities related to specific careers.
Career Industry Day, organized by the Merced County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program (ROP), provides high school students with the opportunity to explore potential career opportunities and network with industry professionals.
