8th Annual DiversAbility Hiring Event Connects Job Seekers and Employers

The 8th Annual DiversAbility Resource and Hiring Event took place this morning, March 12, at the Merced County Fairgrounds, which brought together job seekers from diverse populations and employers committed to fostering inclusive workplaces.

The annual event bridges the employment gap between job seekers who identify as veterans, adults with disabilities, displaced workers, members of the LGBTQ+ community or economically disadvantaged individuals and potential employers.

This year's event saw participation from over 50 employers from various industries. Attendees had the chance to connect with employers, learn about job openings and access valuable resources to support them in their job search journey.

The event was open to the public and offered free admission to all attendees to ensure accessibility for everyone interested in exploring employment opportunities and resources available in Merced County.
