Merced County Head Start Hosts Parent Activity Expo
- Workshops
Merced County Head Start hosted their annual Parent Activity Expo on Aug. 29, which gave parents the opportunity to play an active role in their child's educational experience and develop leadership and collaboration skills.
At the expo, hosted at the at the MCOE Downtown Center, parents participated in planning and voting on various classroom activities tailored to enhance their child's learning experiences. The event empowered parents to become active contributors to their child’s education and allows educators to develop a more personalized learning environment for their students.
Through interactive and collaborative exercises, parents also had the opportunity to enhance their leadership and teamwork abilities, which will benefit their involvement in their child's future academic journeys.
