The 2nd Annual Career Technical Education Training and Hiring Event Offers Career Options for Local Jobseekers

The Career Technical Education Training and Hiring Event held at the Merced County Fairgrounds on April 27, helped connect jobseekers with over 45 different employers, from healthcare and construction to education and automotive industries.

The event, which celebrated its second year, was a great opportunity for high school seniors just entering the workforce or adults interested in changing careers to explore local career options and learn about the various training and education programs available within the county. 

Throughout the day, attendees had the chance to meet with recruiters, learn about job openings, and participate in an employers panel. Additionally, attendees networked with other job seekers and connected with local organizations that offered career counseling and support services.

Career Technical Education Training and Hiring Event occurs every year in the spring.
