Seal of Biliteracy
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE SEAL OF BILITERACY?
The Seal of Biliteracy, approved through Assembly Bill 815 in 2011, is an award given for attained proficiency in English and at least one other world language by high school graduation. Appearing on the transcript of the graduating senior, the Seal of Biliteracy is a verification of language proficiency.
