MCOE Communications created a series of instructional videos to help staff update their department or program pages on the MCOE website, as well as step-by-step tutorials on utilizing Canva, a versatile graphic design tool. A collection of branded materials are also accessible through Canva to aid staff in maintaining consistency and professionalism in their communications.

How to Copy and Paste Elements
Step 1: After you log in to Finalsite using your credentials, locate the page with the element you want to copy.
Step 2: Hover over the element and click on the copy icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Now, navigate to the page you want to paste your element in.
Step 4: Click add element in the desired section. In the menu that pops up, click on the paste option at the bottom in blue.
How to Create a Button
Step 1: On your page, click add element and then add content.
Step 2: In the content text area, type what you want the button to display.
Step 4: Select the text and click on the link icon to open the add link menu. Choose the type of link you will use (external web address, page on the MCOE website or a file).
Step 4: In the same add link menu, go to the class section dropdown and select the type of button you want to use.

How to Share a Document
Step 1: While in your document, click the plus sign next to your profile photo at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Type the email of the person you want to share the document with.
Step 3: Make sure it is the correct email and select send.
Step 4: Click the plus sign to double check who has access. Done!
How to Create a QR Code
Step 1: Go to Apps in the icons panel on the left and type QR code in the search bar.
Step 2: Select the first option.
Step 3: Enter your URL into the text bar.
Step 4: (optional) Select customize to to edit QR code colors/margins.
Step 5: Select the Generate QR Code button.
How Access MCOE (+More) Logos
Step 1: Select the Brand icon on the panel to the left. This area holds MCOE logos, flyer templates, color schemes and other brand materials.
Step 2: To access all additional logos, select the down arrow next to MCOE Departments & Programs.
Step 3: In the window that appears, select the desired Brand Kit.
Step 4: To switch back to MCOE logos, select the down arrow next to Merced County Schools.
